Most people think of pink as a color for a little girl’s room, and maybe a barely-noticed accent color in other rooms of the house, but how do you decorate with pink? Better Homes & Gardens has a short photo reel of ideas for incorporating varying shades of pink into different rooms of the home to achieve a new look and style for each room.
If you’ve narrowed the pink paint color you like to a shade, the Interior Decorating blog on About.com has a few good tips for decorating in soft or bright pinks, including a long list of colors that are complementary to pink.
Now you’ve got your shade of pink and your complimenting color, so what kinds of accents, furniture, and accessories will you include to make your walls pop? Country Living has a slideshow of pink-themed photos that may bring out your creative side. And if you are head over heals about PANTONE’s honeysuckle HGTV just posted a fantastic article showcasing home furnishings and accessories in the now popular shade of pink.
Enjoy thinking pink!
