Tips include displaying your holiday cards in the living room, putting a pillar candle on top of some cranberries in a hurricane vase on the dining room table, etc. Most of their tips are cleaning tips if you’re hosting, but there’s some fun decorating tips sprinkled in. The site also has 10 chic decoration tips under $25, including tabletop Christmas trees, a jingle bell garland, felt ornaments, and more. Many of these can be hand-made as well, for an even cheaper option.
The best article I came across today was A Colorful Christmas over at HGTV. They give great encouragement to take your holiday decorating beyond just the traditional green and red. They really show you that you can inject nontraditional holiday colors into your holiday decor tastefully. I highly recommend giving it a read!
