Move Over Red & Green, Even More White Holiday Decor Inspiration

Unique Dining Table Holiday Decor Options

The holidays are crazy for me each year, but somehow I can always find a little bit of time to decorate the house for Christmas – whether it’s after the kids are in bed, or when my husband helpfully gets them out of the house for me!

I like to read Decorology, where the writer has recently posted some gorgeous shabby chic holiday decorating photos. There are some cute mushroom ornaments, a few ideas for unique wreaths, and other really fun ideas for different rooms in the home. One of Decorology’s holiday posts from last year is still relevant, with more wreath ideas and a beautiful mantlepiece.

Decorating in white for the holidays seems to be the trend this year, as you can see in the Decorology blog post, and Willow Decor is also featuring the white holiday theme. Willow Decor’s ideas are a little less traditional-Christmas in design, and although I love the look, my kids would probably throw fits. We sure do get attached to the traditional red and green color themes when we are young!

About Kelley

I have four kids who are all really young, so I’m constantly running around for their activities. We live in a suburban home, which is constantly cluttered with evidence of the rugrats. Although I can get pretty frazzled, I really enjoy completing little projects around the house and I’m a huge fan of DIY ideas to further personalize our home. I also love any ideas to make life and my spaces more organized.

Home Mantra: "Embrace the chaos."

Favorite Styles: Shabby Chic with a touch of Whimsical in the kids' rooms.

Favorite Pure Home Color: Bright pastel blue ICS 4-5
